CySeP'19 Call for Posters, Demonstrations,

and Short talks

Scope
CySeP is interested in showcasing achievements through invited and submitted posters and demonstrations. The focus is both on the design, development, and experiences with security and privacy technologies in every-day life and business as well as latest research results.

Alongside a captivating program, we expect this is to offer attendees a broader exposure to the latest and hottest solutions. At the same time, we want to provide a stage to young researchers so that they get feedback from a top-notch expert audience from industry and academia.

We are particularly interested in European and National Projects and their on-going or recent achievements. We are equally enticed to see achievements and proposals by European, Nordic, and Swedish companies and research institutes; always aligned with the event theme.

Joint effort with IEEE EuroS&P 2019

Especially this year, all submissions are handled jointly with IEEE EuroS&P 2019. Posters can be presented either in CySeP (Thursday, June 13, buffet dinner) or IEEE EuroS&P (Monday, June 17, welcome reception) or in both slots. Demos and short talks can be presented only during the CySeP week. Authors can select their target at submission time. For cross-reference, please see: IEEE EuroS&P'19 Call For Posters, Demos and Short Talks.

Visibility

Each abstract will be placed on line, and all accepted contributions will be listed. But there will be no proceedings. Each poster/demo accepted to CySeP will also be presented by a teaser talk just before the poster/demo dinner session. Short talks will have their own dedicated session. This will provide an opportunity to access the entire audience. At the same time, all attendees will have ample time to visit posters/demos.

Instructions

We welcome proposals submitted as an abstract, maximum one A4 page long, double-column, min. font size 10, with reasonable margins. This, in PDF format, should describe the envisioned contribution, motivate how it relates to the event theme and why it could spark discussions. It should also provide information about the presenters and their organizations and any special needs for the setup/presentation.

Please submit your abstract at IEEE EuroS&P/CySep 2019. Please specify the type of submission by having [Poster:], [Demo:], [Poster/demo+Short Talk:], [Short Talk:] as prefix to your title.
